			<description><![CDATA[I was at that panel too, and if we're thinking of the same "substantial problem" at the Canadian SF panel I wonder why this person was deemed qualified to sit at the table. If his only claim to authority is that he's a long-time SF fan, then any warm body in the audience would have had a similar claim. I found it almost embarrassing that someone that has never written a single published word would consider themselves qualified to tell authors about their craft.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[I completely forgot to look for you on Saturday. Ironically, we were at two of the same panels (Biotech (although I was a bit late) & Can SF). As I recall, the quote you mentioned of Rob Sawyer's was actually him quoting someone else, but I didn't catch the attribution. I did manage to meet one of other AE Micro authors, though, which was fun.]]></description>
